Tldr they have to toss out their entire theory of gravity and force the 3 bodies to move a certain way like some invisible hand of God.
The entire house of cards regarding space is collapsed by this issue alone, they cannot mathematically simulate or prove that our so called "solar system" spins with 9 or ten planets around a sun in some magic harmony that doesnt result in them crashing into eachother or spinning off into the darkness in complete chaos.
