So I think generally, individualism is adequately properly conservative to western tradition and history due to Christianity and also valuing things like freedom which is fundamentally removed from things like I have spoken of previously.
It is not necessarily I believe what collectivism is entirely, but it goes along with ideas of the soul and spirit, generally I think my feelings and inner self originate from my soul or inner spirit that is where I derive my sense of self from
But then you have all these other thought processes and generally the idea is that all our feelings and sense of self originate from our brains or our third charka, our third eye, but I think fundamentally the people who practice are believe in these things lie and to some extent I believe they think it is your brain.
But see this is where Marxism comes in, Marxism is supposed to be atheist, but I am not sure where this comes from
I don't know if it comes from liberalism in Canada or Leftism, but generally Canada is considered one of the most progressive countries in the world. They started practicing and believing in all these new age concepts originating from the east
And suddenly it became like this mandatory religion, you have to practice mindfulness you're not allowed to think, you have to unlock your third eye or whatever it is to attempt and I think accommodate the immigrant/foreigners but also foster collectivism guised under enlightenment
But I can't believe in any of it, I have to consider myself an individualist
But individualism can just be an excuse for being typically kind of greedy and selfish yes, but the risk is that collectivism from progressivism will always progress in this direction
But why is that, where does it come from?
