God's existance as manifested in cause and effect is undeniable, by virtue of Aristotle's first mover argument. If that is insufficient, going from Descartes proof of thought to Kant's argument on the things that really are beyond our apriori and posteriori reasoning will also lead us to the conclusion that god must exist.
As for what he really is, whether an actual supreme being with motives, morals, wishes, love/disdain for us and the capacity for action, or just the manifestation of truth and good within and beyond our percieved reality, who the hell really knows. Perhaps we never will, and never can. At the very least, I have come to understand that further aligning oneself along the fundamentally objective axis of good and evil, vice and virtue towards the truth, or divine, or whatever it might be, has and will continue to lead to a better life for myself and those around me.
I sincerely wish every anon the same.
