that night, i had a vivid nightmare where there were red orbs outside the window of my friend's house, and when i went to try and wake him up, he was frozen in stasis. then i dreamt (?) that i was paralyzed, floating toward the ceiling, terrified. i remember hearing small scrabbling noises on the roof. then i woke up on the floor, probably the only time that has ever happened to me
personally i wonder if this was some kind of military abduction, or hypnosis- possibly by different groups or factions or species, or something. it seems like it had elements of hypnosis to it. after that, i would periodically see orb-type UFOs in the sky flashing at me or doing weird maneuvers (often in the company of other people, so i know i'm not hallucinating) though it seems like this tapered off after a few years. (this happened in 2013 btw, and i'd say it continued until about 2016). i also began experiencing other paranormal phenomena- ghosts, intuitive/precognitive experiences, etc.
it kinda drove me off the deep end, to the point where i really had to rebuild my reality piece by piece and consider the subjective/objective nature of perception, as well as start doing a lot of research into the historical, spiritual, psychological and political dimensions of the phenomenon. as far as i know i haven't had any other abduction experiences.
