Speaking of Led Zeppelin, the other day I found out the song Kashmir has a hidden meaning.
>The Song "Kashmir" clearly draws from the book, The Lost Horizon, which was made into the Lost Horizon of Shangri-la. In the book, the narrator tells the story of someone whose pilot is hijacked in the area of Kashmir and taken to a place - Shangra-la, ruled over by a bunch of monks who have set up a utopia. the character in the book escapes but longs to return. (In the movie he leaves with a woman who turns old when she leaves."Whether Robert Plant intended to make this song a tribute to Lost Horizon, I don't know. But it's clear he's familiar with the story if you hear the words - in fact, he references Shangra-la in the song>tfw you will never visit inner earth.>>3123442oh yes. Inspired on a story where a full family was murdered I think.
