Personally I don't think my issues come from being ugly, but going through foster system and being bullied in early childhood. I have a big hole in my eyebrow from hitting the pavement and a big scar on my lip that doesn't seem to show up on camera. I also got diagnosed with ASPD during a fucking OBLIGATORY military evaluation which fucked up my life even more
