Learned two things: 1. Be honest... I had a shitty relationship before, and learned that it was partly my fault it turned shit... As I couldn't let go of my masks. If your girl can't handle who you really are, she's not worth the time. If you're faking it, you're not really making it.
2. Be confident in telling her about your flaws, tell her as if you're going to war with them. Don't fake the confidence, just try to meditate towards an as logical and honest a state you can. She won't leave you, she will instinctively help you if she can tell that you're on top of your problems. Anyone who ever had a good mother knows how she will re-arrange everything to support you. If she doesn't... dump the bitch.
Doing this might destroy your current relationship, but it will ensure your future ones stay strong. Also; if she isn't a friend; she isn't girl"friend" material.
