Additional story regarding this: Leonardo DiCaprio was in Alberta some years ago shooting a movie. He expressed concern over how warm the weather was despite it being in the middle of winter. He pointed to climate change as the reason. Little did he know he was experiencing a chinook, which has happened in this region since the dawn of time, more or less.
