The Catholic Church follows a lot of the teaching of Thomas Aquinas, I recommend you look him up.

classical theism (Divine Simplicity) vs theistic personalism
faith + acting accordingly and going to confession if we mess up vs. faith alone + private repenting
established authorities vs. sola scriptura
strict hierarchy vs faith guided communities
and many more...
I recommend looking up Bishop Barron, Matt Fradd, Sensus Fidelium as an introduction. They are normie boomer-tier Catholics, but they are okay.
