>>16026219Here, you'll get a whole bunch of short and snarky replies, sure, but something substantial is rare. You could probably count in one hand how many you've gotten in a month's or so span while here. I can tell from my experience at least that they're definitely much less likely than in an altchan.
With a slower and more grounded board, tends to be people within it who'll take their time responding to you. Here, it's more than anything just a shitposting galore, and people treat it that way.
If you're looking for proper replies here, you have to put up with digging through all the garbage first. Sure, it'll get here eventually, but you're making yourself put up with all the bad before it. What you do with the alternative is just cutting away the latter part and all the noise that comes with it. You might have to wait a little while longer for replies to come by to you, but you can at least anticipate them because the odds of it being something substantial is more likely. With what you mean, it's just taking a brute force approach instead of being patient. It'll work at the start, but that's what's going to get you jaded and burned out as I have.
Basically, more isn't better still.
>How would you describe the types of interactions you want?Simply more long-winded ones, such as this one. I really can't recall even one that I haven't enjoyed. Letting my stream of consciousness go is sheer fun for me, and it's much more so when it's reciprocated. Short and brief interactions just aren't on the same level, for most of my time here it's always been one-sided, and after a while you just feel like you're talking to yourself, even if somebody's listening. I've gotten lucky and been having 15000 word per reply back and forths in another imageboard lately, and it's the most fun I've had in a long time. I guess I'm just a bit extreme with it.
Char limit.
