Right now, developments in the fundamental tech (LLMs) is slowing but the maturing players are still very uncertain on what applications there are; the bubble isn't bursting but the actual features have not translated hope into purpose.
There will be new features and gimmicks to come, at least if looking at the steam engine as a basis. When the adoption of the Industrial Revolution's early innovations, such as mechanized spinning and weaving, slowed as their markets matured we got increasing adoption of locomotives, steamboats and steamships, and hot blast iron smelting. That, however, was not enough to continue growth and the 1830s to 1840s had a recession.
