>>20147007>[Kelly Omega's own face lights up in response.]"Wait, *you* know Sheila? Goddess above, of course you do. I swear to -- she just knows everyone. She would have loved to see you there, I'm sure. I mean, who wouldn't..."
Kelly can't help but smile. Just... of course Sheila already knows everyone Kelly ever meets. She always has been far more, uh, sociable than Kelly O. Worked wonders for the pair of them back in Japan, despite only one of the two speaking the language -- and spoiler, it wasn't Sheila Foster. As Bree closes off his tab, and hands Kelly his card, there are butterflies the size of eagles in her stomach. This is not the way she thought her night was going to go, and certainly not with Colby Jefferson's brother. The three head outside, and Kelly gives Goss a friendly hand shake again. He's not good with eye contact, apparently, but it's okay. He seems all right. Too good to be pushed around by Colby, for sure.
"Goss, take it easy, all right? Don't let Colby ride you too hard. She's nothing without you; remember that. But, uh, the better you make her look, the better I look when I beat her. And Brian - or, uh, Bree. This was really nice. I can't say I thought I'd run into anyone so... uh, run into >another Jefferson, that's for sure. I'll definitely send you a text sometime. And I'll say hi to Sheila. She's probably causing a ruckus over there as we speak."
>[The moment hangs heavy, and Kelly doesn't really know what to do.]"Thank you, both of you, for helping with this, you know, 'party situation'. Maybe I'll run into again sometime. But for now, I must bid you adieu."
>[Why did you say that, Kelly?]"So, uh, goodbye and good night... Bree."
>[Kelly departs, heading further into Spaghetti Town's downtown district, stopping briefly to turn back and watch the pair walking away from her.]
