Most people are not antisocial so it is only natural that they would seek out the company of others. And in a foreign country full of foreign people one would naturally feel more comfortable in the presence of those who are most similar to them. I'd say that they should break out of those secluded environments with time, but I wonder if I would do it if I was in such a situation.
