Hell, even the hypertrophy in your forearms will be suboptimal due to overuse. And just isometrics are kind of crap for optimal hypertrophy.
You don't have god tier genetics m8. You can't get away with doing crappy things unlike some Chad who was born with incredible strength.
So, train however you want but if you want better results, listen to your fuckin body
