>>12958455oh yeah i forgot to answer the cover question lol. there basically wouldn't be half or 3/4 cover, anything would be full cover or no cover and it'd just be up to the DM to decide what counts. that sort of thing is really common in tabletop games anyway
well there will be spells and melee weapons at all, guns are just the example i was using. the idea though is that it's about as flexible as held actions in d&d which work where you set up conditionals within reason for an action you want to take
so whether you say "i want to shoot this spot" or "i want to shoot this guy" is up to you, but once you declare which it is you're locked into it for that shot. you could also say something like "i want to jump out then shoot a bad guy" then wait to pick which one you're shooting until you have to start lining up the shot.
you can also choose not to follow through with an action on the turn you'd be starting it if you want to for whatever reason. like if you say "i want to run after that guy" then he ducks into a room 5 other dudes with it you can choose not to follow him instead, but you don't get to do anything else with the time that you would be chasing him.
