I have used a lot of field recordings of water, like close ups of waterfalls, etc. More recently I've learned that a GNU PLUS LINUX system has a built in white noise generator. It has a pseudo device (like a CD/DVD drive that doesn't actually exist physically) that does nothing but provide randomosity, including random number generation. If you autoplay that "device" (as if you were commanding the CD/DVD to autoplay), it puts out fresh, real time white noise.
I advise strong cautions when using "videos" you find on jewtube, etc. You never know what subliminals they might have in them, REWIRING YOUR MIND.
