in the grand scheme of the free market vs. things, this is where you see the difference between
>having jobs at home, producing for yourself, being an independent nation insulated or isolated from foreign strife>getting cheap chinese goods 5 cents cheaper and everyone only works service jobsultimately the best interest of the nation is protecting its own industry since that is the real value of an economy, not trying to maximize world economics and build up numbers untethered to actuality
it's too little too late now: even the stimulus is a weak life support to the industries that would have only really worked if we resumed work already. this entire situation is being colossally fucked up
