>>10095525you get a yuuuuuuge bang for your hour and dollar
honestly even SBFs are almost as cheap unless you go extreme, and the Coyota platform is god-tier it's just too physically large still great tho
>>10095527There is nothing like the smell of a carbureted V8 that's brand-new and still burning in the block paint and header coating. Goddamn that rich-gas smell is so fucking good.... the only thing better is actual Leaded gasoline through a high-compression carbed motor. But there's only one lead-additive product available in the US now and unless you own an old old car there's no reason to have it. If you ever get a chance to smell lead-added gasoline through a 60s musclear with 10+:1 compression and a carb, do it.
It's the visceral quality of dinosaur cars that makes the hobby so attractive
Electric WILL have modders but it'll always be small because the crazy g-forces are the only thing cool about them and you can get the same effect from a 300hp SBC for $1700 and you get ALL of the extras too
>sound>smell>mecfhanical nature of it.No it's not as fast (by far) but it's more pleasurable overall and high-hp has jumped the shark now that you can get 1000hp from a 5.3 LS out of a pickup truck for the grand total of $2000. You will spend $4500 on the transmission to live behind it kek.
In fact I'd say the dino-car market will thrive BECAUSE it's not antiseptic and polished. It's rough and that's something you can't get out of a porsche, tesla, or even corvette anymore.
god i love cars I really do. I even like Chevies
