The Quran is a mess. There are dozens of different versions, but the Muslims still lie about 'not a single dot or letter' ever chaning.
The early Quran was written by Waraqa, Muhammad's father. Waraqa was a Nestorian (heretic) who knew enough to be dangerous about Christianity, but due to his cult, denied the deity of Christ. He created his stories and then had Muhammed, his mentally ill son, pretend to be a prophet and convince the ignorant, illiterate camel herders around him he was talking to a god.
When Waraqa died, Muhammed wanted to commit suicide and was even more deranged.
It is poorly written Christian fan-fiction taken up by savage people.
Once Muhammed had died, the Abyssid's (not Arabs, but Persians) saw it as a useful tool to keep the Arabs subjugated, and whip them into a frenzy to conquer lands eastward. The rest, as they say, is history.
