From my perspective, I'd rather date somebody who was my equal then somebody who just mindlessly does things that they are told to do, somebody whose chemistry was in balance with mine, who shared my values and goals in some capacity. If that's not possible, then I see no purpose in dating/marrying anybody whatsoever.
