Jet seems to have made his mind up shortly past halfway through the season that Tay was to be one of the finalist, just like Letty was, and it was waffling between Shinji and TJ until Sam returned and fucked up the whole thing by mandating the three way ending. Vance was asked on his last livestream about the finale and he stated that he felt that Tay was going to wipe out the other two but that he was happy with any of the three winning. Its likely they felt the same as the audience and felt that Tay was on a fucking warpath while the other two were demoralized only for her to collapse in that final week from boredom where NOTHING happened because production entirely MIA.
