>>21582634Real Nymphaea caerulea does NOT look like that. It has too many pedals and it's WAY too blue, real Nymphaea caerulea has 12 to 20 and that's it.
I went to Egypt one year and was given real Nymphaea caerulea seeds via a botany trade for a rareish orchid.
I compared them to the random seeds online and the electricveg's seeds and that guy is actually selling real Nymphaea caerulea.
Real Nymphaea caerulea looks like picrel. An all blue lily is fake, real Nymphaea caerulea is mostly white with purple/blue blended outwards.
Some Nymphaea caerulea flowers are actually almost all white with little to no blue.
If dried in the sun it WILL be all white as the sun rays damage the color. drying in darkness keeps the color intact.
The main problem with growing Nymphaea caerulea is that it will readily hybridize with other water lillies and the resultant seeds will not be Nymphaea caerulea but some hybrid.
The best way to grow it is inside with no way for unfiltered outside air getting in. So like in a spare bathroom in a basement where you filter all air going into it. That is if you want to collect the seeds, you can just grow it outside if you don't want to harvest real Nymphaea caerulea seeds.
This is esoteric botany information that is highly hidden and protected.
People will lie and say none of this is true but i spent the better part of my life looking and verifying this information.
