>>22563289I think post-return might actually see alts get more activity, at least if the regulars here come back and tell about why the alts are better. But they didn't really seem to be going up in activity over time, the people who needed chans got on them pretty quick and stayed and everyone else managed without. Maybe if 4chan was down for a month+ they'd get decent traffic but even then I think no one really KNEW they could move to alts/which to go to.
I'm more suprised the alts got as much (not much) activity as they did, considering no one ever really talked about them except an occasional complaining-about-4chan thread or 'what alts do you like?' thread on /g/ or something once a blue moon. I only knew to go there because I bookmarked a bunch when the webring was "big".
