I feel like the root cause of porn addiction is more so that most men have deeply unfulfilling relationships with women (if they have one at all), and it's mostly just fucking until you get sick of each other nowadays.
Nobody needs porn if they're in a happy, sexually fulfilling relationship, and the fact that so many men are addicted to it points to how few are in one.
There's no real pair bonding anymore.
A lot of modern women are have unattractive personalities as well, with no real kind of endearing femininity or innocence or motherly air to them.
Just because they're physically attractive (sometimes) doesn't mean they've got anything else going for them, so a lot of guys are just kind of going through the motions of an animal through heat.
But now men have a readily-accessible alternative to having to deal with all the bullshit, while losing very little in the sexual satisfaction department.
Even if it's not a perfect trade-off, it's so easy that it's hard to resist.
If you look at coomer groups like otaku/idol/vtuber culture, a lot of it is specifically focused on endearing personalities and troupes (like tsunderes, older sister/little sister, the like) as an equal to aesthetics, and once they've gone this far it's hard for them to ever recover when presented with a modern woman, who bears only aesthetics.
While any woman can fulfill our sexual desires, there's so few that offer anything deeper in terms of a pleasant personality or even just being somewhat interesting that it's hard for modern men to treat them as anything but fuckholes.
A lot of women don't really put any effort into the relationship or even just the sexual aspect of it in the first place, expecting men to hand everything to them on a silver platter for free, which is the final nail in the coffin for a lot of them.
If the average man has mentally denigrated into s0is and aspies, consider how bad off women as a whole must be.
