>is there any reason at all behind it?somewhere within your IP range there is one or more spammers. its easy to evade a ban if just one IP gets banned but if the IPs around the original IP also get banned the spammer has no fresh IP to cycle too. Sadly this also means that innocents get hit. IIRC even entire countries get banned sometimes lole.
>But there has to be a good reason when they're not weird and messyits probably one of the best if not the most effective tool mods have (besides actually moderating) to prevent spam for good. Remember that this site has no accounts and minimal fingerprinting that could be used to enforce bans so they only can use these less than perfect methods.
