As fantastic as it might sound, for some reason it hits me as having basis principles, only needing to find the perfect properties that allows it to work. Not that I'm thinking practical development is a simple matter, but, definitely doable.
>Despite my very limited knowledge on this subject, it's not beyond my ability to draw upon things I am familiar with to "see". Though not as similar as it might seem, my first introduction to this was as a young kid in awe of The Invisible Man. Trying to figure what mechanisms would allow invisibility has led to many musings ever since.

>I will never forget that night in Jamaica in the 80's when we saw that huge silent disk-shaped craft pass right over our head. To this day I can describe its opposing rings of light along its bottom's outer edge, and the three huge colored "lights" in its center ring...I think pinkish, yellowish, purplish? I can almost see it. Its absolute silence was notable, as was its "apparent slow approach" from the sea to inland behind us.
▪as you've long known, I am very deficient in knowledge of the proper terminologies for things I attempt to relate as clearly as possible. Perhaps just think of it as a window into how early men described what they thought they were "seeing", in the days before scribes wrote it down 'just so'--for others to consider.
