They can switch IPs (VPNs and bots) and spam in their own threads to make them look diverse and keep them bumped. 60% of posts on /pol/ are made by the same IP-switching shill, often just copying posts from Reddit. They always have several threads like this up and as soon as one dies, their bots make another one automatically.
1) There are overt shill threads that

3) OP having "1 post by ID" isn't a great indicator anymore. Many posters in the thread having only one post by ID is a better one, i.e. a weirdly high count of unique IDs (organic is 30 posts/15 unique IDs; not, for example, 30 posts/25 unique IDs). Another good indicator is an extremely high number of replies to the original post because the easiest way to bump your thread without reading it is just replying to your first post.
4) EST 2:00 PM-8:00 PM and 2:00 AM-8:00 AM is his peak spam time.
Since mods hate /pol/, don't expect them to do anything about it.
