The wolf is a hunter, like me. He stalks, he uses ambush and suprise, stealth, misdirection, and direction. These are traits of hunters. He studies his quarry. He understands its habits. He uses geography and tactical movement. He carefully selects his prey.
I respect the cougar even more. truly majestic creatures. I would never kill one unless I absolutely had to. Where a wolf moves in the dark, the cougar is the darkness! They are deer killing machines! Unlike the wolf, they are alone, against the wild. Ive ever seen two in the wild, both times just glimpses and they were gone. They are the ninjas of the forest.
