Would not trade for manual (always had manual like 99,9% of cars in my country), makes me more relaxed when needed, and still can be engaging when i feel like it.
And automatic is not more simple to drive, not if you still want to keep fuel efficiency in check.
Pros of Automatic
>better fuel economy (especially new 7-8 speed automatics)>more relaxing to drive>easier to focus on the road (if you are not retard who types on your phone while driving)Cons of automatic
