50mg of Nyquil is a little over a double dose (which also raises the acetaminophen intake, the more dangerous aspect of taking Nyquil specifically and not something which only contains DXM like Delsym

I don't think it would kill most people
But doing it over and over would most certainly kill your liver, kidneys and stomach lining after a few years of abuse
