4chan did have separate political niches. There were truthers everywhere in the mid 2000s and people would not shut up about Bohemian Grove or the Zeitgeist films. Actually many of the Iraq War redpills circulated around here, Afghan War redpills, PATRIOT ACT hysteria was common.
General threads were commonly raided. There were NSoc threads regularly but there were also tankees and libertarians. All of this was mixed in with druggie eurodance anarchists who were trying to hack everyone. In some ways, 4chan is closer to the 2000s era now than it has been in years. 1PBTID shill spam is bad but we at least have some dedicated anons who care about quality. The number of Yoo threads is a good sign that people haven't given up.
