>>14728260>This implies that you can change your gender. But in truth you never had any experience of being a woman.Read my post more carefully. "Changing your gender" refers to changing how people perceive your gender. The internal experience of gender, gender identity, does not change. Gender transitions are social/psychological.
And yeah, I've never had the experience of being a woman because I'm not a woman.
> This whole delusion is proposed as a way to eliminate differences in the name of equalityUsually equality means people having the same rights and treatment despite their differences. Do progressives think the only solution to sexism is murdering all men?
>under the dualist gnostic assumption that the mind is seperate from the bodyWho is making that assumption? If the mind was a separate entity from the body then gender dysphoria wouldn't exist to begin with, and we wouldn't be having this discussion.
>>14728370>I also don't agree with the treatment of 'gender dysphoria' feels like making people just take a simple walk would be better treatment to most of these modern maniasIt's not like other methods haven't been tried before. At the end of the day, to treat gender dysphoria successfully you need to either rewire the brain to match the hormones or change the hormones to match the brain. And doctors don't have the tools or understanding to do the first option yet.
And gender dysphoria has always been a thing, but nowadays it's a big social issue that gets a lot of media attention.
>>14729049I'm not saying it's separate either. The brain is a part of the body.
