>>12524009The whole region ? It's mostly bland. Obviously the best part is the many castles (and winery) along the Loire. The cities are very middle sized and generic (Tours, Angers, le Mans, Blois) but mostly liveable. Nantes is obviously different, it's more of a metropole with all the good and bad that comes with it.
The main problem about the Pays de Loire is the region being stuck between the Parisian ogre and the much more attractive Britanny.
