>>21178462It probably comes down to a different bone structure. Dinosaurs, like birds, had extremely light and hollow bones, which made them a lot lighter than their actual size would indicate. It is possible that their weight calculations are not entiry accurate, we really have no way of knowing how much the bones weighted since fossils arent bones, but rather a fossilized imprint. Same goes for the weight of their flesh. It's all a guesswork.
