2008, age 19, get diagnosed with cancer, lose right leg, get told I’ll be lucky to make it to the age of 36.
2016, become a father. Know I will likely never see my daughter grow up and she will have the burden of her father dying and I have to make arrangements so she will at least be financially safe after I’m gone.
2019, age 30, after years of testing and unsuccessful treatments, I receive the news that I am cancer free.
