The downside no one talks about is legal. If something goes wrong, .com and .gov have the system set up to fuck over the truck driver. So you need to be obsessed, like paranoid obsessed, with safety, everytime, if you really want to do it, and you need a strong backbone to tell driver managers, customers, etc. no when they want you to do something unsafe or illegal. They're never going to fire you, unless you hit shit.
