>>3231141>Give me an objective moral standard without GodWhy the "without God"?
There is no objective morality anyway.
In a culture that worships cannibalism, Hannibal Lecter is a Saint.
Killing or trying to "cure" gays is/was seen as a noble act in fundamentalist muslim and christian countries, while the ancient greek fucked little boys without any social consequences and we look upon them as being oh-so-cultured.
There is no absolute good or evil, there are no good or evil humans, everything and everyone is grey, for there are infinite ways to look upon a certain thing.
In the end, there isn't just no objective morality, there is no objectivity either.
Of course, there's professionality, trying to rely on what can be observed and neglecting one's personal opinions or desires, but what can be observed is also not absolutely reliable for our perception is subjective.
What we know is usually applicable in our perceived reality, but how much of that perceived reality is actually real, we cannot know.
There is no objectivity and especially no objective morality. Just because you want some rigid moral code, doesn't mean, the fantasy character providing it is real.
