what OTHER technology has not improved with 50 years of innovation and research and money pumped into it? imagine if toyota in 1972 said that they had a car that drove 50000 miles on 1 gallon of gas, but they destroyed it and all proof of it and now we can only go 50 miles on 1 gallon of gas. it would be unbelievable, but when it comes to "space travel" and "spaceships" then for some reason the average NPC normie gives it a pass and exists in cognitive dissonance
