Let me say that the concept of hamburger itself is very good. Its a fast and simple way to eat a lot of good shit.
But the secret lies in the ingredients. If you have home-made hamburger it is completely different.
As I already said it is simple just look at the ingredients tomatoes, bun, meat, lettuce. Its shit literally everybody on this planet eats.
But this simple philosophy is used in american cooking as well. "Just fry it". And this is the difference between home made and fast food ones. And it is also why everybody can eat it.
So
1.simple basic ingredients.
2.simple execution.
Now lets say I want something fancier or different like raw fish.
This usually doesnt go well together because the taste is something dfifferent. Its more aggressive and ut wants more attention. You can't just say "sit there with lettuce-sama" because the fish will completely demolish it. So in order to enjoy the fish you have to give it attention.
In the hburger state you are giving the attention to the meat which isnt as strong so it can be paired with lettuce-chan.
Its like when my my mummy gave me this strong tasting meat. You cant pair it with stuff to make it more enjoyable you have to like it itself.
