>>11094361It's from 1989, they did a good job on the remaster. If you were going to watch Gundam I'd suggest that one as it's very well regarded and only 6 episodes, I doubt you'd be so interested to sit through the at least 7 hours of the original.
It's a powerful machine gun and the blue robot doesn't have very strong armour. But all that is secondary to the script requiring it to lose.
