The whole OT said it would happen, then it did happen, and a couple of hundred years later they write the Talmud to legalize their way out of their crimes.
The apostate of Judea and Israel became Esau, they had forsaken their birthright for lentils. Woe to them.
That is why Christ makes them seethe. Atheists are less complex. They hate Christ simply for lisence to be degenerative. In their vanity they believe
they can define good and evil on their own terms, making them the perfect goy. By make believing they are in control, they are actually in bondage to the peddlers of their vices.
