My thinking is that right wing political opinions come from the idea that certain groups are disadvantaged by nature and therefore you can not expect to see them perform as well as others.
And left wing opinions come from the idea that all groups are equal as ordained by god/mother nature and therefore any discrepancies in observed living standards are due to racism/misogyny.
So if this is true then is it possible to have left wing people who do not believe in God? if so, then what would be their basis for assuming that all things should be inherently equal in nature?
