God controls Satan, based upon our free will actions, which either give darkness more power or less. It's a controlled simulation. We have free will, but are never in any true danger. Unless we decide to reject our maker and serve the earlier aptly described "primordial" darkness. Of which, there is none, in Him. But God ahead and freak out about things beyond your experience. I've been to a level of Hell, in spirit. I've felt demons on my skin while walking around my house. I've experienced more than you, and I know more than you. Be wise, and learn.
