>>11829194>Oh i wish i could just not care that much like most of you do, i cause endless troubles to myself by overthinking. Gotta learn how to be more like this MOOSE~~~
It takes time, & much pain, to learn how to feel *without* succumbing.
Some years back I wrote a lengthy essay on this, for the empath's life is a pandora's box of woe.
The bottom line was "perspective".
What do we do with so much pain? Can we convert it?
Can we be the Vessel into which it flows through, yet, instead of it exiting us with the same degree of angst and despair, we manage to ABSORB it, think on it, pray in kind and convert it by giving it its due respect and love, before its energy leaves us to rejoin the Universal Fold?
>Let me ask this: What good are we as empaths IF NOT to employ some kind of change? Why do we exist at all, if our purpose was to drag ourselves down in the doing?Might we see ourselves as "better angels", whose purpose is "service to others", even if much of that service goes unseen and unnoted?
Being such a Vessel is a personal matter, between us and the Divine. As much of a burden that it can be, our heightened sensitivities to feel so intensely is really A Gift. A Gift of Love that We Receive, because the Creator KNOWS our capacity to Love.
The Universe seeks balance. Love is EVERYTHING to insure this occurs. It's said love conquers all. If we, as empathetic entities, ADD to an imbalance, we're not doing our job correctly.
We can cry. We can grieve. We can actually FEEL another's pain, but if we understand the process better, we're apt to sleep better, knowing-INTRISICALLY KNOWING-that OUR OUTPOURING OF LOVE UPON EVERY BREATH might somehow have made a difference to someone in this crazy world of ours. So we pray for that gift, as well.
▪Please forgive my unsolicited commentary on this troubling matter you are facing. I'm simply praying that something within my words might help you gain solace, that sense of peace I feel you have not yet achieved in full.
