SMILE is by far the best procedure, currently; a 70 degree slit is made instead of a whole flap, then a laser is used to make 3d perforations in your lens. A chunk of lens material is then removed through the slit; within 24 hours vision is good enough to drive, within a month 20/20, and within 6 months residual halos and night vision problems are gone in the majority of patients. Only a tiny minority of patients of the SMILE procedure report any adverse effects after one year. And it isn't generally any more expensive than LASIK or PRK.
