Do you agree? I mean, you can tell that Anon 1 is correct, but, absent of God's revelation, you cannot *prove* it to another person, and morally obligate them to live to that standard.
The same problem happens with religion in general. "which god is the true God?". If Jesus did not come, then allah is as good as odin - they're just creations by different peoples.
Going back to apostolic succession, who has the authority to interpret scripture and define doctrine? Who has the right idea about who Jesus is? This is why he handed authority over to His Church.
