They actually represent Christianity perfectly; that's the problem. It's Christianity itself that has failed to evolve and catch up. Its ethics are not helpful to us anymore. It is a tool that has lost its utility.
>>14397257"Paganism" is the result of logical human beings looking at their world and coming up with explanations. "Paganism" evolves alongside a culture and a people. Humans noticed the Order of the world, and they attributed that to Zeus. They personified Order, which is a normal thing to do. As it turns out, Zeus (as a person) doesn't exist. But Order does exist; what Zeus is representing is very real. Same thing goes for all the gods and goddesses.
This is why "paganism" cannot die. It will continue to evolve as our understanding of the cosmos evolves.
