They've proven that the blocks were poured on site in place with a primitive type of concrete.
They have samples to prove it.
Having proves it is why the Egyptian gov no longer allows samples to be removed.
That does not take away it being a significant building. It just shows that they weren't some masterminds using equipment that was lost for centuries.
