>>301309Lie, kiss ass, exaggerate accomplishments (I used the fact that I read to kindergarteners when I was in highshool as "volunteer work" and listed helping someone move house when I was 14 for 20 bucks as "freelance labor") talk about what a fan you are of wherever you're applying (unless it's such a small place that they'd know if they rarely or never see you in there) and if you're lucky, find a place a relative or close friend has worked at in the past and get a good word in, it's helped me get at lest 1/3 of the jobs I've ever had.
