Marriage is literally financial suicide. As soon as you sign that paper you give up on half your assets, and no a prenup won't save your ass since:
1/ It only applies to wealth you already owned before your marriage. Anything you earned afterwards will still be split with your wife.
2/ Most prenups get cancelled by leftist female judges who feel like the woman got cheated and didn't understand the full implications when signing the paper.
Also; in many countries, having lived a certain amount of time with your girlfriend is enough for you two to be considered married de facto. It's usually called "common-law marriage", "legal cohabitation" or "conjoint de fait" and just like a real marriage it may entitle your girl to half your assets.
